Riverleigh International Equestrian Centre is situated on a beautiful country estate in Muldersdrift, Gauteng. The property has been professionally designed to include plush livery quarters for your horse, ultimately designed for Dressage with two top class full sized arena's, show-jumping arena and smaller arena's for lungeing and pony riders. A full entertainment/catering area for show days, seasonal and fun events or just a place to sit back, relax and soak in the absolute calm and inviting country atmosphere, with lots of trees, flora and fauna. And of course, acres of open grazing where your horse can have fun and just be horses! Our aim is to provide horse, rider and guests with a fun filled positive and professional experience. Riverleigh offers an inviting atmosphere for all riders, competitive and non-competitive.

Founded in 1984, by Sheba Zager, Riverleigh International Equestrian Centre has become known as one of Gauteng's premium equine facilities offering the highest standards of Livery and professional tuition in Dressage and Showing.

Riverleigh has gained a respected name in the equine world by providing its clients with absolute dedication for the professional care of their horses. Riverleigh has gained the prestige of being considered one of the best run and most competitive equine facilities in Gauteng. We are registered with DSA (Dressage South Africa) & SASA (South African Showing Association).

Sheba Zager has produced many successful dressage champions and many more are fast advancing to higher levels of dressage. Many Riverleigh riders have excelled in the dressage arena and compete at regional and provincial level. Tuition is provided hands on by Sheba. Amongst her notable achievements include having competed in dressage competitions since 1978, producing horses and competing to Prix St George level.

In addition she has received coaching locally with international instructors as well as being coached in the Netherlands. Sheba is currently a National Candidate Judge and held the position of Chairlady of GHS Dressage from 2009 to 2012.

Jennifer Labuschagne is the stable manager at Riverleigh. Jennifer has a degree in Equine Sciences from Tshwane University. Her primary focus is on beginner and lower-intermediate riders, producing quality riders from a grass-roots level.
